I think that kit look good too. I was about to pick that kit up too but I didn't want to change out my amg bumpers. I think you should do it. It pretty cheap I think, all you have to do is repair for front a bit. Here is some pics: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w208...ghlight=rieger

For 300 it is a good deal but I don't think it looks better than an AMG kit..the front lip is nice but the sideskirts look like stock and the rear is just ridiculous..maybe you can just do AMG or Carlsson sides and rear and the Reiger front lip? That would be different...I was also looking at kits before I got my Carlsson kit and I just couldn't justify the rear bumper it was to much for me and at that time locating a AMG kit/bumper was either hard to find or cough up at the stealership but I wanted something a lil different so I just went with the Carlsson and coughed up for the labor and etc...

Can someone tell me with the AMG body kit which front spoilers I can use without full swap? Also I would love some in site as to who makes and what they are made of. I see some are replicas and fiberglass. The only other body kit I ever put on a car was back in the late 80's on a VW Cabrio and it was a BBS kit. ( man that was a great kit for that car) It was made out of a poly and was forgiving if you brushed a curb.. I mean paint it paint but I know fiberglass will not give.

I know so far I am not in the main stream with the Rieger front but I really like it from the ones I see. I don't mind the side and think I can live with the rear but I may just do the front and see.

Sorry to ramble but I just seem to have it info overload!

Well I mean it is your car so if you do go with that kit you would be/stand out a lot different from the rest of us...do it because you like it, not because we do or don't like it. Just our .2 cents...

Rieger Kit

I am a newbie to this site, so I am not sure what the heck I am doing on this thing... I have a Rieger Kit, you either love it or hate it. It gives the car more of an agressive look, Lorinser I think looks the best, but for the price of a real kit, you minds well put down another down payment. I get compliments on it all of the time... Rieger kit looks the best depending on color of the car. Here are some pics..... I am actually looking to sell the car since I don't drive it much....anyone interested?

I'd go with Carlsson, especially if you're iffy about the Rieger (I do not like the sides at all). From my experience, if you're not sure about the Rieger's look initially, you end up disliking it. Euroteck carries the W209 Carlsson kit if you're interested. I can get you a great price. Just send an email to request@euroteckmotorsports.com

This is a W208 we're talking about not a W209...Wish you guys could actually get the real Carlsson bumpers for us since every other or most MB can get them but us.

Unless you can offer us one of the extremely limited (only 4 left, I believe in the entire US as of 2005) W208 Carlsson front bumpers for a decent price, we W208 owners can only go with replica RS bumpers, which ALL pretty much have suck-a$$ fitment problems.
