2000 CLK 430 Steering Wheel Fluid
To remove the cover - you'll have to pull it up on the sides to release the clips (takes some effort). Once you have the cover off, the P/S is on the right front of the engine, below the oil filter housing.
Don't use ATF! Only use power steering fluid designed for that use. There's markings on the dipstick for cold vs. hot measurement of the fluid level - don't overfill.
When you re-install the engine cover / air filter housing, you'll want to make sure it seats properly on the MAF / air intake on the engine, it will be at the back of the engine, top center. You don't want unfiltered air contaminating the MAF...
The cover must be pushed down to snap it back onto the clips, reconnect the air tubes and you're done.
On the V6's there's a lot of stuff covered up by that engine cover. That previous pic certainly makes that clear!
