'02 CLK 430 & '02 Lincoln Navigator

Ideas & Questions...

Okay, so I have a very open-ended and long-winded question. Basically, I just recently purchased a 430 and am looking to do some improvements without spending a crazy amount of money (unfortunately, that means no Kleemann). I did a lot of research on this forum and benzworld to come up with the below lists of what I have done and what I am looking to do. Keep in mind I have only had the 430 for about a month so that is why the list of “done” is so short.

About my 430
• Black 2002 w/ 40k miles
• Bought with everything stock

Completed
• Tinted windows (15% driver/passenger and 5% rear)
• K&N filters – although I may switch these out as I am having the standard intermittent rough idle.
• Replaced the orange bumper signals with clear

In the works…
• Updated Grille. Thinking about the one on performanceproducts4benz.com
• 55 Airbox. If anyone has one for sale I would be interested.
• ECU re-program from Powerchip
• Alpine IVA-W200 Head Unit. Does anyone have this installed? If so, how do you like it?

Eventual
• 19’s

Any other mods I can make to increase performance? I have been thinking about Eisenmann exhaust but the cost is pretty intense.

Looks like your on a good start. If you change out the filters maybe some Green filters would be another option once you get a 55 airbox. Also a custom exhaust system would be an option if you don't wanna fork out the cash for an eisenmann. Sounds as good and makes just as much gains without the name. Good luck!
