Electronic reset

I just replaced the battery on my clk, and have a few malfunctions. Two of them I know will reset themselves once I drive the car, as I usually had these in the past when disconnecting the battery for the winter. The main problem is that the driver window won't stay all the way up now, and continues to go down about 2 inches when I let go of the switch. I remember reading a post here quite some time ago which told how to reset the power window, but can't find it now. Does anyone remember how to reset the power window so it stays up? All input is greatly appreciated.

press down (not auto down). When it gets to bottom, hold 10 seconds. Now press up (not auto) until it goes to the top. Hold 10 seconds. That should do it...but no guarantees.

Bring the window all the way up and continue holding the switch for 10-15 seconds. Then lower the window all the way down and continue holding the switch 10-15 seconds.
