My friend has one in his 99, we had to cut the bar under the current radio to fit the double din. It fits well as there is lots of room behind the console. He likes it, but we never even set up the gps, hes using it for strait dvd and entertainment.

i have one in my acura its great,
but there is few things i dont like about it
1 they made the screen smaller i think its 6 ich when others is a 6.5
like the avic d1, d2, the older ones are nice but they dont play dvd movies you will have to buy a car dvd player and run the movies from there to the screen the avic d1, and avic d2 its base on dvd nav and music
its dual slots so you dont have to take the nav disk out at alll it says in there at all times
2 its only 1 dvd/cd slot wich really sucks ( every time you wanan go some where you have to put in the nav map disk load up the adderst then put ur music in or what ever u wanna listen to)
what i like about the avic d3
1 i like that you can change the colors on the radio to match it to your car make custom backgrounds
2 i like the sound/pix quality on the avic d3 very nice and good and very well for the price of a avic d3
and yes i have bose in my acura it sounds very welll
the video on avic d3 veryyyyyy niceeeeee
3 i got the avic d3 when it 1st came out, i had it about year or so now no problems with it at all
4 a other reason why i got the avic d3 is cause of the price $ you can pick up a new one for about 600-700$ in the stores it goes for 1000$ +
i had a flip out screen jensen 7 ich touch screen i paid $500 for it i sold it for $350 and put the rest in for avic d3 wich was worth it
what do i wish
i wish the avic d4 comes with dvd/nav dual shot
and bigger screen 6.5 or 7.0 ich will be good

It's Great Unit for a price, I just installed it. But CLK stock amp and speakers will make it sound very dull, but a little better then stock radio. Now I plan to upgrade sound as well.

how ever you can get ipod or put 100 songs a mp3 disk will it work on the 02 clk320's cause i heard that it wont? yes it will work on there i dont see why not the clk320 and the 430 got the same head unit i belive i got the same head unit as you i changed mine but i got a clk430
