Paint bumper first?
Paint the bumper first then put it on or
Put the bumper on and then shoot it?
I'm thinking if I shoot it first, I could scratch it up installing it. Thoughts?

I got it from Creative Auto (creativeautoonline.com) for $285. Not bad. Problem is shipping (from Cali). $190! Grand total of $475 shipped. I'm exploring painting options right now. The indy I go to has a body shop but I'm not familiar with their work. I've talked to BB and he, of course, has a paint and body guy. I will consider that because I trust BB's reference. I'll be shopping though if the cost (to paint) is too high. It shouldn't be more than $250-300 bucks. I'll keep ya posted.

*LOL. Just kidding*Is jacking the car required or suggested? I couldn't figure out why you needed to unless it makes it easier to access some of the bolts/fasteners underneath. I think I could wiggle under the car, I'm not fat....YET! *LOL*
By the way, my AMG style from Creative came with metal wire mesh tie wrapped in the opening. I thought about leaving that on and painting it black. Whaddya you guys think?
Autozone sells a set of non-metal ramps that have a more grqdual incline for low slung vehicles. The metal ones are too steep, and hit the spoiler before your wheels ever get to the ramp.
I left a sensor on one of the spoiler posts. It seemed stuck, so I just masked it, and painted. Supposedley, you can give it a quarter turn and it pops out.
Painting the inside should not be any prob., just be sure to mask so no overspray gets on the painted side.
You'll also need 12 beers and some Spam Lite.
My expertise is limited to the Home Depot bumper.
I understand that Home Depot is sponsoring an 800 HP
riding lawnmower in the next 24 Hours of LeMans.
It should run neck-to-neck with Lowe's twin turbo leaf blower.
I expect a good race.

Anyways, I just picked up one of these bumpers today, and as everyone reports, theres gonna be fitment issues. The brackets around the lights need trimming as there too fat, and it doenst look like the cutouts are perfect around the headlights. Ill see what the bodyshop says on monday. Good luck, I wouldnt recomend painting this bad boy yourself, its in a rough gel coat finish, it will need some decent prep, primer and paint.
