You may find that many people hit <next thread> rather than commenting on a personal preference item in a negative way. Some of the things I see on forums I would never do, but if, for example, someone wants to post the latest photos of their CLK430 with CLK55 stickers, cut springs, no alignment, and 35 pound wheels, I'll hit <net thread> rather than comment.

If anyone has CLK55 stickers on a non-AMG car, or cut springs, or ridiculous amounts of negative camber, or wheels by Jenny Craig, don't take this personally. It was only an example.
