Those are E class lights custom fit. This guys youtube gay video has been around for years before the cheese graters were out. I remember you wanting to retro-fit some in-expensive E class lights...you should try it. Those new black lights for our cars are way to expensive for what they are.

Just for everybodys info. I just installed the chrome ones and found that there probably is a reason for the holes in the design (cheese grates). When you switch on the lights, then you will see some indirect light coming from the holes, which in my view is a plus for the chrome design, but maybe will not have the same nice effect on the black ones, as the reflection obviously is gone on those.

new guy here... my opinion is that i like the projectors but those freaking holes.. cheese grinders are ougly.... why are the E class w210s have better after market styles? and $800 for the cheese grinders? i'll wait for something better if i m going to pay 8 bills...

regarding to the clk with half chrome, half flat black headlights... black should look better on that ride.. but that flat black made it look cheesy.. if you gonna get that cheese grinder style.. go CHROME.... in the mean time, i'll stick to my blurry headlight that i have to buff out every other week.. freakin sheeeeeeeiiiiittttttt

hey i emailed them to see how exactly this process works but didnt receive a response back yet...

do they expect to just receive measurements and then they will amend the lights or something? i dont get how it really works cuz i would think...for a retrofit...that a custom installer would have to physically do it himself....

Nobody has these black lights installed? I guess no one really wants to pay the price. I think it's over priced for what it is. For $800 you should get a big booty bi+ch to go with it.

After looking at these on a silver CLK like mine, I have defiently decided to get these. Doesnt look as bad as everyone says. I do need help on buying a HID kit. Have any suggestions? I had a phillips kit on my Lexus. I heard that was the best.

I think you have to send your headlights, or an extra set if you have one. They will retrofit the projectors into the housing for you and send it back.

the black projectors with the cheese grater look just went down in price $100 in the last few days. also, there are now three different people seeling them on ebay now, it used to be just one. pro car parts is one of the sellers on ebay, by the way. the black ones have only been available for a very short time now and now theyve already gone down $100!!! most likely over the next few months they will go down even more. im going to wait until after the summer to buy them i think.
