Lately, when I put the car in park and take my foot off the break pedal, the engine revs to around 2k. Then if I depress the break again it goes back to a normal idle. This continues untill I either shut the car off or drive it around for a few minutes. If I shut it off, the next time I start it, it revs high one time then drops to normal.

Anybody have any ideas?

It almost acts as if its tired of stop and go trafic and needs a good run.
Which I have no problem giving it, but want to get this fixed before the AMG intake goes on and the stereo gets gutted.
