Shock bump stop replacment issue
I assume it was due to bad fitting by the mechanic when my Kleemann shocks were fitted a few months ago.
However, assuming I can get a rubber stop tomorrow, how easy is it to fit bearing in mind I need to pull the shock back down into the wheel compartment to get it on and then feed the top of the shock back up and into the engine bay?
Do I need to get a garage to do it?
Thanks guys.
However, how far do I compress the top bushing from within the engine bay? I can't simply check the other side as I am sure that is wrong.
One thing further, due to the increased force exerted on these bushings due to the shock and spring modifications we make, does anyone know if there is a different bushing available than a stock MB bushing.
Ben, you mention this as a common problem!
Thanks guys.
Jonathan.
