I want to buy some factory wheels, but can't find any.

Both of my front wheels (the factory AMG rims for a 2001 CLK430) are bent (from hitting potholes, I assume), and I'd like to buy a pair of replacement wheels. I've looked on the internet and have been very surprised that I can't find any. There are some aftermarket knock-offs, but they're the wrong size (they are all 17x8 [instead of 17x7.5] and have the wrong offset). To add to my difficulty, my wheels are chromed so I'm looking for chrome replacements.
Does anybody out there have a pair of chromed factory AMG wheels that you'd like to sell?
I think the style of my wheels is called AMG 5-spoke 129, but I'm not positive about that.

I just went through the exact same thing, but I had a real problem.

Mine are also chrome and I had to find one, but I couldn't find anything.

Obviously Ebay has some, but I was never able to find just one.

You may be better off and buy some non-chrome wheels and have them chromed. That's what I ended up doing.

Also, you may be able to find someone who can fix the rims. There is a place called Hubcab Annie where I live and I think they have stores all over the country, but I could be wrong.

Good luck.

Definately try to find a local shop to repair the bent rims. I just got one of my front rims fixed for $160, alot cheaper than buying a new factory amg rim.

try this place also (stumbled across them, not recommending them) for
single rim. yes, chances are you'll need to have them chromed unless
you get lucky and find one already finished.

I saw these on the local Craigslist:

Not sure if these are the style you are looking for.

I have no affiliation with the seller, just posting these as a way to help out a fellow CLK owner.

TransWheel can fix your wheels, I did not have any dents in my Stock AMG Wheels though the clear coat was chipped and there were a few curb scratches. Transwheel stripped and did a COMPLETE Factory refinish and give a life time warranty. My wheels turned out PERFECT as though they are brand new. Cost was $550.00 for all four wheels. They can do one or all. Very happy with the service. Took a week.
