Output of cheese grater projectors vs. OEM xenons
I'm loving the output compared to the OEM xenons. For the OEM xenons, I used philips 6000k D2R bulbs and for the projectors, I went with a philips 6000k D2S kit.
Based on the pics from hidplanet of depo headlight output, i must say that either depo has improved a lot or i'm just lucky.
Now, I don't bother with my 6000k foglights anymore.
In the future, I would love to do a projector retrofit though with maybe tsx projectors. Gotta confirm the size of projectors that will fit though. The ones for the w210 (e55, rs6 etc.) are too big.

Yah me too. I much prefer the flat cutoff although I would prefer an even flatter cutoff hence the need for a projector retrofit in the future. The OEM lights were rubbish! LOL
The projectors are definitely brighter than the OEM xenons as I'm using D2S bulbs with no coating on it for projectors compared to the D2R bulbs i used to have which are coated to reduce glare and brightness.

I'm only happy you could use the info.

Concerning the cutoff, I'm at the moment having some washers fabricated, because the lenses were to far out into the lamp, and in that way obstructing the adjustment of the light output to a certain point. I will come back with info, as soon they are installed.

No bulb warning for the HID. Sorry no pics. Try HID Plane they have an instruction that explains the wiring.

I'm not putting out 6 bones until they have a year on them to see how they age. They look cheaply built.
If they do not leak or turn colors after a year or so I might consider them.
