can anyone give me an answer to my ac glitch?
Ok guys .. this is whats happening to me .. I had the ec light come on , so i took it in to my mechanic. He charged up my ac and its been leak tested its fine. The ec light didnt go off however. Somehow the only way to turn off the ec light is to go to ignition stage 2 right before cranking the engine , press the ec light off, then it goes off, nmow the car can be started and ac blows lovely( ec light stays off) Wheres my problem here?? any help will be greaty appeciated. thanx in advance...

EC is economy AC.
basically blower motor on, AC compressor off.( i think)
Sounds like you got a STUCK EC button.
I have heard of other w208 owners experience the STUCK eC button complain aswell....
You can find replacement AC control panel on ebay....
How do i know this??
My AC button is broken...and I can only engage my AC using the MAX/AC button.
