Sign me up for that list too...

At first I thought it was a leak, until I couldn't find any oil anywhere on the driveway.

Not sure what the hell is going on.

There is no oil on the underbody cover as well. Mine used a little less than a quart in a month.

must be a 320 thing!!! same thing here. i just found out i have a small leak. if you were to take off the black cover on my car it would be on top on the left just about in between were the spark plugs are. its not enough to build up under the car. the thing is my mechanic said im the 3rd person with a 320 the leaked from this EXACT spot.
off topic sort of: what kind of oil are you guys using?

I have a 430, and have never had to add any oil between oil changes (usually about 10,000 miles)

Same here. I changed mine on January 5th. I haven't added a drop in the last 8500 miles.

Well at 1/4 or more of a quart every couple of months, you would see the oil somewhere... I'll take off my engine cover tonight and see if I can find the spot you're referring to.

Who works on your car btw? I need to find a good mechanic locally that can do odds and ends now that I'm out of warranty... I don't feel like taking it back to the city if they're going to be charging me $100/hour for labor and trying to pad the bill.

No meaningful consumption here -- 1999 CLK320 with 129k on the clock, driven mostly highway. Oil changed at 10k-11k intervals, using the Mobil 1 0W-40 that others here use too.

430 here. I have not had to add any oil ever. I check the dip stick and use the electronic measuring feature as well, and neither had read low oil.

This must be a 320 thing. I spoken with some guys around town and they have the same problem. One of the guys says that heard there was some sort of class action against MB because of it. I don't know though.

Oil consumption is normal and you may see up to a quart of oil every 1200-1500 miles.
