Taken The Plunge Yet With Black Projectors

Has Anyone Taken The Plunge Yet With The Black Projectors?

If so post some pics...I'm thinking of getting them but I still haven't seen anyone with them.

Here's the link to them:

why would u want some black projectors? your car is black. u need some contrast up in there. terry got the chrome projectors. even tho a lot of peeps said they looked like cheese graters(incl. myself) they looked pretty good on his ride. made it look like a newer car. but black on black on black is a little redundant dont yall think?

sorta, unless you are going for that black out look. personally i think it would look sick on his car with black headlights. im planning on doing pretty much the same things things he has done.

Did you see the responses Tery got when he photoshoped the Black Projectors on his black/black ride?...

Imagine the reaction you'd get when their on in broad daylight.

Man...if i had a black clk, i would hands down tint it, throw on black rims and black headlights. I can't imagine the chrome headlights looking better than the black ones on a black car. I just wanna see someone with a silver car w/ the black lights...

DO IT CLK FAN!!

Those were my thoughts also because I haven't seen them on a black car ...just that white car and it looks good on white but I don't know if it will wash out the front of my car because of the lack of contrast.

What I would really like is the ones that are made for the E class that are not black but have a mix of chrome and black and looks tasteful rather than cheesy like cheese greaters.

ya i wanna throw em on my silver CLK....but im not a big fan of the cheesgreaters nor the price for those cheaply made headlights....so if nethin ill wait for a drastic price drop or a new style of black projectors ta come out.....till then i gues im fine wit the stock xenons :-/

Well here is Tery's ride with the photoshoped Lights, so you can rate yourself either chrome or black, but keep in mind they are photoshoped....not actually on the car and I'm sure would look different not just taken off the internet....

and here is one of them on the CLK!

those look pretty good, and cheap! its a shame they dont make em cheap for our 208s. check out terry's ride, he got the chrome cheese graters but they look pretty good, imo. they have grown on me. i think those would go along really good to match your chrome lip. but if your already decided to get teh black ones, go for it. id just thought there be too much black up front. anyhow, whatever u do post some pix.

ooooh, ya theres just something not right with the black progectors on a black car. Was personally thinking about putting them on mine, but now that i've seen what it loos like, not a fan at all. Chrome looks so much better and alot classier. black just looks trashy and ruins the look of the sexy front end.

does he have the chrome ones and the black projectors installed on the same car? i think the black ones look clean on the white car same with the chrome ones. yea im starting to thing if u put the black projectors on a black car it wont look to good either. so i think i might go with some chrome ones. but everything else on my ride is going to be blacked out.

Yeah that guy has Chrome and Black projectors, kinda looks pretty dope, but I still don't think Black projectors would look THAT bad on the CLK, I think it just depends on how it's setup to make it look right, you know?
