I have a 2000 CLK 430 - before they put the chrome exhaust tip. I've contacted a chrome plating company that will chrome dip the tip for me.
If you are interested, I can probably get this done for you at the same time for around $50 + shipping (shipping is probably about $10 to most states). PM me if you are interested. A new chrome tip is over $200 and you cannot get these anywhere but from the dealer.
Here's how it will work: you ship me your tip, I'll get it chromed and ship it back to you. It will probably take about 2 weeks based on my experience with these guys but could take a little longer if those sending their tips to me are delayed.
