I didnt notice the headlight rings but I like the way it looks so I will probably have to buy them as well. I have your car on my desktop looking badass with those chrome projectors...at home and at work!!!!
I cant wait 6 more hours to start installing, I will take some before during and after for everyone.
I need to find that link for the HOW-TO on the bumper removal.

The Chrome Headlight Rings makes the projectors look bigger. Is probably not a bad idea on silver car as it removes the black gap. But I would not use it on a black car.
There is no need to completely remove the front bumper, you only need to loosen it and pull it 20 cm out. Then you can pull out the existing front lights and replace them with the projectors. The tricky part is to get the front light washers out of the tracks in the headlights when you remove them. Make sure you centre the projector properly in the cut out. You don't want them looking like this.

Well,
I have taken the bumper off and hooked one headlight on. It is not bolted yet so it may look a little off.
IT IS HOTTTTTTT as hell so I needed a break from the constant drip of sweat so I am posting pics of the middle of the install.
So far I think that this purchase was WELLL WELLL WELL worth the cost. They look sweet when lit up. It makes the car look alot newer as well. I will continue the install in about 15 minutes as soon as I cool off a little.
Well here are the pics so you can judge for yourself.

Man thanks for that link for the bumper!!! That thing was right on point step by step!!! Now whenever I get my carlsson bumper I should be straight!!
Oh yeah,
The only bad thing about this is that now I NEED some new clear foglights. Where can I get some clear ones that will fit my amg bumper.

About the HID....how do I do this. I feel that I get less light output now with the projectors than with the halogen even though its definitely a whiter light output. I have HID on my Navigator and would love to have them on my CLK. What does everyone recommend? Right now I just swapped all the bulbs from my old lights to the projectors.
Thanks for the positive comments!!

I had to do a little bit of adjustment but it wasnt hard to do. My guess would be that others didnt take the time to adjust them.

If not the easiest thing to do is get a plug and play kit from ebay or somewhere like that. You will need to get a kit that uses the D2R bulb. The factory system uses a D2S bulb.

I think I'm going to go with these chrome ones also. The black ones will probably look really bad on a black car that has a black grill. Those black ones look a lot better on white cars and silver and probably any other color other than black.

Nah man, i just thought it was similar (but not as nice). it's got the same rings and grill w/ black mirrors tho! but the mirrors aren't as nice as yours.
