I just recieved my comand unit today. It came with a GPS cable and wire adapter. Am still installing it but have a few questions for you guys that have dun this first. I plugged it all in ta make sure it works. Radio is great. CD work and controls the changer. Waiting for a nav CD so cannot test that yet. I got this unit instead of an after market ta keep the euro astetics. But this is my prob i have a face lifted w208 but the wheel controls are not controlling the unit, and i cant figure the speed sensor wire. Any help is appreciated. This unit is the euro one. My CLK430 2000. Thanks.......

 

Attempting ta install myself anyone that may have dun this before or recently have any helpfull advice... .Ive read all that i found so far.... pics would be helpfull....

 

Your Control Unit(s) probably need to be re-programmed to accept the new device.

Do you have access to Star Diagnose?

 

Would the dealer help in the star diagnosis part of the install? Also have searched all over for a pic of the speed sensor wire so i dun splice the wrong one but no luck yet.... Doing the install myself and will have pics once completed. Thanks for any help guys.

Unfortunately no.. will be hittin up the dealer sometime next week cause its time for service anyway so ill let you know by then but would you happen ta have any advice for the speed wire?...
