MAX offset for CLK 55
Hi,
Does any1 knows the maximum offset allowed on the front and rear on a CLK 55.
I have 19x8.5 ET44 and need to order spacer and wanted to know the maximum offset allowed. TIA.

You should use an offset calculator because it will tell you how much it will change from stock, then you can decide for yourself what to use.

FYI stock is 7.5", 37mm offset front, 8.5", 30 offset rear.
In my opinion, use a 15mm spacer in the rear. I do not know about the front because the inside edge of the wheel will be 20mm closer to the strut housing than stock, and the outside edge will be 6mm further out. It seems as if a 5mm spacer would be as far as you would want to go because even that would make the wheel slightly further out than the top edge of the fender, and even then you may be too close to the strut housing.
