I got an "extra" key for my2001 clk 320 convertible from the used car dealer I just bought the car from. It was not originally coded for my car. He said that the dealer could reprogram it... Well, I took it into the local MB dealer and they said they never do that. Anyone know how I can get it reprogramed? Or do I have to buy a new one??

it is good for one thing tho, if you ever crack the case on one of your functional keys, then you can gut this one and slide it over the internals of the cracked one
