M113 dimensions

Hello All,

Been a long term lurker here, and finally decided to post.
Can someone get me the widest measurement of the M113 motor in a CLK 430??? Most likely right at the widest part inbetween the valve covers. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.....

Thanks,
Jason

M113 in my E430 is about 25" wide from the outside edges of valvecover to valvecover. The coilpacks stick out a bit more so its probably around 27-28". I really didn't take precise measurements I just ran a tape measure across the top.

suicidal4life,

Thank you very much for measuring that for me. I really do appreciate it. I am currently considering a v8 swap for my extra m3, and right now I am deciding between a couple of motors. The M113 sounds very appealing at this point, but might be a little hard to get a hold of for a reasonable price.
Once again thank you....
