Anyone interested in H&R Cup Kit?

Just got it today, but decided to get something else. Brand new, not even opened, still sealed. Paid $700 for it.

Anyone interested?

Long story... to make it short, did not check prices other than a few internet shops, and because I've been going to this shop for a while, I trusted them with the price...

Anyways... I guess I'll just tell my self I saved on shipping and tax... it is 1 heavy box...

go to tirerack.com and do a search on your model, year, and make and click on suspension. they are low in stock, but have the best price..note, installation will run around 500.00 to 650.00

WOW!!! $5-600 just for the install?

I was quoted by a shop for $850 for the cup kit with install (they were charging about $200 for the install) and probably no tax if I paid with cash... and no, they are not the run-of-the-mill Ricer Shop.... though they do service and mod 'Ricers' too

$850 for the kit and install sounds way too cheap... $4000 for istallation sounds about right.

Holy Hell... I hope that was a typo? $4,000 for 'installation'??? $400 I can accept, but $4,000??

Sprewell Racing quoted me $1,200 for H&R w/ Bilstein shocks installed...

Hell I can install it myself(put my suspension on my e-36 m3), and then get an alignment for about $50. That seems a bit high for an install. Oh well

Sorry, that was $400. That was what I paid to get H&R coilovers installed on my Audi.

Stick with a reputable shop to do the install. If you can't find one, your MB dealer will do it. I asked mine in Northern VA. they quoted me 700.00. Make sure the shop you are doing it has the appropriate spring tensioner for H&R. Some 'japanese auto' places won't have it, but do your homework first.

1200.00 for kit/install sounds pretty good.

WOW, I guess we LA people have it good in install prices... I can'y imagine paying more than $200 for installation on shocks/springs...

I got my E36 M3 coils install for $200, my LS400 springs installed for $150. The only time I paid over $200 was for my Lotus.

That ran me $600, but it was a complicated car and a really nice and complicated system...
