Independent on Long Island NY
Hi everyone,
I just became a proud owner of a 2000 CLK430. I don't have a warranty or a service history on my car. But I do want it to have a checkup (so to speak) before the winter set in. I guess the dealer is the best place to go. But would any of you recommend an independent on Long Island or in Queens NY?

I got my wagon serviced by Auto Addiction in Lindenhurst LI, ask for Jay. I actually found him through this forum, a guy in Brooklyn was asking the same thing. You can call him at 631 592 4333, or find his profile in the forum, AutoAddiction I think.
Just a very easy, hassle free experience. Did an initial look over while I watched TV. Went through a list of have-to's, should-do's, can wait till next time, etc. Work was first class. Lots of time to just chat over options.
And the ride I got after drop off and pick-up...an E63 (Thanks Frank) and a Bentley Flying Spur (
Alex) well, you just can't get any better than that. Probably the first and last time I'll ever be in a Bentley!!
Anyway, highly recommended by me, two thumbs up, mos-def.
