$60K for a car, and they can't get the windows working right...
Why is it that for a ~$60K car, they're still having problems with auto-up windows???? You'd think that after power windows have been around for, oh 10+ years, that they'd be able to close and stay closed properly? "Latest and Greatest" modern technology my @$$...
Next month'll be the 3rd time I'm asking my dealership to fix the problem where the window drops about 2" after doing an "express up". If they don't fix it this time, I'm really going to freak out at the dealership.
Amazing how so many other "inferior" cars don't have this problem...
Sorry, needed to gripe.
1. read this recent post... https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...threadid=20393 there are some helpful hints there
2. have the dealer change out the motor/module... i haven't had any problems since. Just tell them you don't want them to simple reset the stop point (which is described in the post) but you rather have them replace the motor/window module
Thats basically why I'm upset - if they did replace it 2x, shouldn't the problem be resolved? What did they do, give me another defective one on my service A, then give me back my original one on service B? The only consolation is that each replacement motor seems to have less occurances... oh well, again, sorry all, just needed to vent.
