I wasn't joking about any of the badging. It sure didn't sound like you were kidding about the 435 or 450 (and neither did anyone else get it either). It doesn't matter what you badge, ANYTHING other than a CLK430 for your car is just mis-representation of the car you have. The only other option you have is to de-badge.
When it comes down to it, just do what you want. You aren't going to get people to agree with you. Someone will be laughing(CLK55, M3, M5, whatever) at you as you're being left behind with your badged up car. . .
