Looks good. I really like the way the chrome projectors look on a black car.

It looks great, really transforms the car! The only thing I would change is the lower mesh. I think it would look a lot better in black, just my opinion.

Thats exactly what I told the body shop to do but they forgot!! BUT...my wife and I really like the mesh the way it is now. I told the shop that I would let them know soon if I wanted it painted black later.

And here are some ALMOST night pics with the Angel fogs on!! These are better than the hella as far as the angel eye brightness goes.

In one of the pictures, it looks like your old foglight behind the mesh. Is that just an optical illusion?

Its definitely not the old foglights because they are still attached to the old amg bumper BUT...I do see some lights back there now that you mention it. I am going to check it out.

Oh and one cool thing that the shop did is that they hooked up the fogs to the main light switch.
When I turn on my city lights the angel eyes come on, and they stay on with the headlights as well. I have full normal functionality of the fog lights just like before and NO BULB OUT WARNINGS!!!

ahh...very clean, reminds me of mine...but silver of course, but definitely think about painting out the grill, it stands out and take away the focus on the RS kit....but should you chose to leave it alone, that would be fine too...arent you glad i talked you back into putting it on?

btw, how much did it end up costing? what i right on the estimate? how was the fitment job they did?

more close up pics please

HEY MAN Whats up!!! YES, I am glad that I decided to keep it. It ended up costing me 480.00 for just the install, paint and fitting. They shop told me that they hardly did any fitting though because the kit just fit so well and it really does. There is a very small gap around one of the driving lights but you have to be looking at it pretty long and well to even see the difference.

I am supposed to take it back to get the mesh painted black but I dont know if I should just leave it like it is. One reason is that I like the look and if I paint it black I am worried about getting all the rock chips on it and it looking like *** after a couple months. I have to think about it. As far as the grill goes..well same scenario as the mesh!!

YOU WERE RIGHT ON WITH THE PRICE MAN!! THANKS AGAIN!!

not stock.
like always...look awesome, and good fitment & paint... but I would go with regular white round foglights and black mesh grill... i believe it would TRULY clean the look... maybe a flat hood-emblem too

I have decided that the mesh will be black!!! I will drop it off at the shop tommorrow morning for it to get painted.

I also want to get the grill black but they will not paint it. I have the White Star flat badge sitting on my desk. It was sent off to get repaired so I will put it back on and see how it looks again.

Thanks for all the advice so far!!

Why wont they paint the grill? CLKFAN has an all black grill. It looks really clean.

Yeah I looked at it this morning and they are from the old corner lights..I will have to remove the bulbs. I hope I dont get a bulb out warning, if I do I will have to rig something up for it.

They guy said that it would quickly start peeling off due to the chrome. I even asked him to just sand off the chrome and then paint it black and he just said he rather not do it cause it wouldnt work right???

But at least for now I will get the mesh painted black. The majority concensus is for it to be black. I did a quick paint shop of it and I think it will look much cleaner.

Don't quote me on it, but I've heard to get it done correctly, you'd have to beadblast it and then put some flexagent in the paint so it won't crack off. Of course I really have no idea what I'm talking about so no one go off on me, but that's what I've been told anyway. I was lucky enough to get my black grill already painted from Phade, who I think actually got it from someone else.
