Wheel Question For My New 19's

Just purchased some stern wheels, 19 by 8.5 front 19 by 9.5 rear with 35 offset all around. They are hypermesh and in chrome , 3 inch lip rear and 2.5 up front. And my car is 2002 clk 430. I know my ideal tire sizes i will be purchasing are 265/30/19 and 235/35/19 but i wanted to know if there is some issues i should worry with rubbing or i was told by some local rim shops i might have to remove a "grease cap" . Neways here is a pic of the rims i just bought as soon as i get pics of them on my car i will post them, but anyone with some advice on these rims and if there will be any issues please tell me.... Also what site has the cheapest set up for 265/30/19 and 235/35/19 ???

2000 CLK 430
every rim and CLK is slightly different, that set up should work, and does for most, but for my car, the tires really matter, if they are too beefy and square, mine rubs the suspension bolt up front and the outside fender in the rear driver side.... so best of luck with those sizes, it will probably fit, but there is a chance it may rub depending on the factors i stated above as well as camber and whether your car is lowered , etc.

Rim Response

CLKMILAD, I run the exact same set up and don't rub at all. Best of Luck! Do not run BF GOODRICH, they'll rub. I have the new nitto invo's and love them.

the cheapest , decent , set of 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 are probably the General Exclaim UHP's.

They run around $650 mounted and balanced at any local shop.
