vht nightshades works well..........hes used it as well as me........make sure you apply even coats and some clear coat at the end so they get the sexy glossy look at the end u know.....different sites sell em i got mine from jegs.com just for fyi........great mod and diy good luck

thanks for the info soo wat u do is just buy it spray it and then after put on a clear coat? wat did u mean by "even coats"

Your best bet it to have a professional body shop do them for you. Unless your spot on (no pun intended) the VHT Nightshades can look like complete azz and if you don't clear coat them they'll haze over and look even crappier. I had an excellent DIY guide and did it by the numbers with the VHT and it looked awful compared to the professional ones. Like comparing Rosanne Barr to Tera Patrick, sure they're both women, but which one would you rather...well, you know...

Admittedly pics of a VHT job would most likely look the same, until you get close up. The difference in quality is day and night.
The place that did mine is 402 Motoring in NJ. They do swaps with the LX (Charger/300/Magnum) guys and Jeeps too. Your best bet it to have a spare set to swap so you don't have any down time. Then you could sell the extra set on eBay or keep them just in case you get a fix-it ticket, which may be a problem in your area depending on how the local police feel about it.
FYI, 402 does light, medium and dark tint. All of mine are medium, they recommend dark for show use only. They'll also mask off the reverse section if you what them to remain clear, color match other parts or whatever else you'd like. It might take a while to get them, but to me it's worth waiting for, now I just need to get them the tails from my S!

This is a different direction, but u can buy the new clear lens tails on ebay...they have one that's red with smoked clear stripe in it...might be kinda cool.
