2001 Timeport Messaging
I have a 2001 Timeport/Comand with Att Wireless tdma in Southern Cal. Am I able to receive SMS Text Messaging on th Handset, Comand Unit or on Both? Anyone able to do that?

Out Of Control!!
Finally, someone just as screwed as me!
You can recieve text messages, you can't send them back (email).
You can't tell the time unless you call 853-****.
You don't get colors
You get crappy rings
I'm trying to think of a positive for it. I'll post again if I do.

well one positive is that if you turn the phone sideways it looks like a car...but seriously, it's too bad the phone is not on the cutting edge as the rest of the car. but at least it integrates with the comand and the on dash display. plus chicks dig the voice control.
