'Newer' CD Changer??

So I've had the following symptoms:

1) "NO CD CHANGER" - restarting the car a few times or taking the magazine out and putting it back in (with the engine off) would fix it. This was intermittent, except it was embarassing

2) The magazine got stuck once

3) The cd just 'froze'. No error messages or anything I just couldn't do anything (can't switch to a diff. cd or a diff. track)

Since the car's starmarked, I just took it to the dealer...

They replaced the CD Changer.. with a different part??

203-820-90-89-88 - CD Changer
Q-6-82-0408 - W202 CD Inst(ed: Install kit?)
Q-6-82-0692 - MODFD Q68204

They apparently had to 'modify' the new bracket or something.

Everything seems fine now (only time will tell I guess). The CD Changer's now moved back a bit and the cover looks different...

Did Mercedes Benz 'upgrade' the cd changer or something?

Thanks

A couple of days of driving around in the dealer's loaner 2007 C280 4matic

I think I've gone back enough times to get different colored C280s over the past year and a half.

(capri blue, black, silver, red)

Thank God for warranty.

to be honest though, someone who isn't **** enough would probably ignore most of the things I had to fix (mostly rattles and squeaks that the dealer gladly took care of).
