New DPE's For my CLK 55

Just got some killer wheels in from dpe. My questions are simple and probly moote since i already have the wheels in my garage but i wanted to ask anyway.

i would have 235/35/19 in the front and 265/30/19 in the rear DPE LS-5F Matte Black with polished lip. I have plans of wrapping them in Nitto 555's because right now thats one of the only tires i can get in those sizes (everythings on back order ie falken /toyo)

I was told by the DPE Techs to shun away from tires brands with beefy side walls like Khumo, Pirelli, EagleF1, Michelin, Bridgestone, etc..

My question is i know a handfull of you guys run 265 in the rear on ur CLK's.... any rubbing issues or issues in gen? And doesn anyone know if Nitto's are generally ok for DPE's? I'm pretty sure they are but i just wanted someone eles to tell me they're running nitto 555's on their dpes and have no problems.

Thanks guys i appreciate the input.

Pictures comming on friday when they are installed

265 30 should fit fine. I imagine 8.5 fr and 9.5 rear? I've seen others running 555's here. Should be fine. I have toyo t1r, but thats what was on the wheel when i got em. they're great, too bad they're on backorder. Make sure your offset works or get some spacers that fixes it up and you wont' have any rubbing. PICS!!!!

Looking at rims 19x8.5 and 19x9.5

doe these offsets sounds good: +33mm in front and +40mm in the rear?

Let me know if you all think these rims will sit flush with the wheel wells (front and back).

You should be fine. if they gap a bit u can always use some spacers.

My offset is 19x8 in the front and 19x10 in the rear. The front i know will be ok... its the rears that im insure about since its a pretty big offset but i'll take guitairist's word for it

Im sure they'll fit fine cause i had them made custom for my car but i just wanted to see if any of you are running this set up. Thanks for the hlep

I dunno if ppl put 265 30's on a 10" rear wheel. You might want some other feedback. I think w/ a 40mm rear offset you'd probably want about a 5-10mm spacer. I'm thinking the CLK offset is about 37 front and 32 rear. I have a 10 mm spacer on my 9.5 rear (appx 40mm offset) so it changes to 30 and it sits just right. 35 front and 30 rear is a good aggressive look

yeah with 19x10's 30-32mm et offset is about right, to keep the barrel of the rim from hitting the inside of the wheel well, try to find tires that have that stretched look, nittos are one, but the new falken betas are too beefy, the old 451 grbs were great, they have a stretch look with allows it not to rub up on the outside fender. if they are too beefy or square then it may rub depending on your camber and other factors, i have a camber kit and my fenders are not rolled like your CLK55 is so i need more of a stretch to make the 19x10 work. you might be able to get away with the 265/ but if you want to be safe 255 will probably fit for sure.

Success!!!

Got em wrapped in the 555's with no rubbing issues what-so-ever. My buddy Brandon at Illusions on Rt 10 in East Hanover helped me out with some chrome lugs that were the appropriate size cause the factory 1.5 inch lugs were too long. The car rides 100% better now. Smoother, more road contact, better acceleration agility, and better handling response.

Couldn't be happier.

Sneak preview picture till i give my car and new wheels a proper cleaning/waxing:

Thanks! I had it custom fab'd a while ago. No one made them and i knew that was the style i wanted cause i used to draw it all the time wheni was first undertaking modifying her... so long story short i had my buddy at CLD Motorsports make a mold and pump one out for me... the quad fogs were a personal touch. Simple 3" superwhite angel eye fogs from ebay. They fit exceptionally well IMO.

haters crazy
Why dont you ask me these things man? You know I have 19x8.5 and 19x10 DPE S20's on my ride. I actually have 275/30/19 Dunlops in the back with no rubbing whatsoever with the rear KW v.2 coils turned all the way down. Congrats on the wheels. Let me know if you know anyone that would be interested in buying my DPE's
