Warning Lights on all over the place
1999 CLK430 with 115k miles on it.
Running well, just had a right rear tire replaced yesterday.
This AM on the way to the office the brakes are "jittery"
Then lights and warnings start coming on in this order:
BAS
ESP
ABS
CEL (check engine)
When I looked I also noticed that my speedometer is on 0, I am going about 60mph on the freeway at the time.
Turned off the car and restarted and the CEL stays on.
Help, suggestions, where do I start, I am good with a wrench and the nearest MB dealer is an hour from my house.
Could really use your help.

I couldn't tell you why the brakes are jittery or the speedometer is wacko but today on my way home from work all those lights came on in my car too. ABS - ESP - BAS....I started freaking out. I did some research and apparently if you clean the brake light switch contacts or even replace the switch it should get rid of those warnings. Heres a link to that thread.

yeah...the stop lamp switch or whatever under the brake pedal could cause this. I had an ml320 and had these errors and had to replace the entire bas unit to fix it.
