I believe they have combined the Inner from the Clear Tails with the Outer LED Tails. This product both pieces should be LED's.

I installed a set on my cuz CLK320 which the piece on the trunk OEM doesn't have the bulb there under the reverse light. so with this LED set it has LED on the botton of the reverse light! is there a quick mod some where I can follow to get it on with the DRL? I wouldn't think it's a stupid question cuz I don't own this car.. I've searches all around haven't seen any one write a DIY for it. please help!!!

no ther isn't a DIY on this fourm about that, you just have to run wires from the main tail light through the trunk arm covers(black plastics) to leds on the trunk. how ever after doing that you will notice that the trunk leds will light up significantly broghter than the body ones and that is because they are meant to work as rear fog lights, its a european thing that only lights up on the driver side and in europe the opposite side. so long story short if you connect them to the regular lights they will be much brighter than the regular parking lights that sit on the body, so you have two options, either use them as brake lights because when you step on the brakes the leds on the body will light up super bright which will match the trunk ones perfect or you have to run a couple of heavy resitors to dim them down which if you dont use heavy duty resitors they will heat up and then you'll have burned carpet liner and eventually fire in your trunk.
