Check Engine Light
Hello guys,
Recently my check engine light came on. I've replaced the spark plugs and had a major service done to the car. 100000 and going. The light came back on again, then went back out.
Can anyone tell me what's up? Please lead me in the right direction, so when I go but to the auto shop - I'll have a little more ammo to work with.

FYI, if you have K&N or other oiled filters in, these will trigger the CEL for a little while. It took about a month or 2 for mine to stop coming off and on, and then finally went away.

I recently switched to using Amsoil in the engine and replaced the cabin filter.
I was driving a couple of evenings ago and had to depress the brakes hard and sudden and the check engine light came on for the first time. It was also due for the 100000 mile service so I went ahead and hed it done. I was driving again and the light comes on again with a lamp malfunction indicator also. I washed the car and when I started the car the check engine light was out and didn't come back on, last least until I got to work.
I don't have the K&N filters, only OEM filters.
All of the lights are working also.
