If your battery is dead but you can get in the car, pop the hood and there are terminals you can hook at positive to. Then you can pop the trunk. Follow this thread.

There is a thread somewhere I can't seem to find but it tells you how you can get into your trunk if your battery is dead and can't get in.

The closet I found was this...

https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...ht=clk+battery

Hope that can aid you a bit, if there are others on here that know the thread, post up more for the guy.

the trunk is broken though. worked the day before thanksgiving and wasnt working the following morning. so im totally relying on the hood terminals when i get in the car tomorrow morning but im still unsure if thats enough to jump start it. i usually go straight to the battery...

If I read your post correctly, you can get into the car. Pop the hood...looking at the engine, on the top right hand side (near the fire wall), there is a plastic cover hiding the + jumper post. When you hook a jumper to it (and - to a ground) you should be able to start car and/or pop the trunk.

It was from a UK forum so the cars are right hand drive so not sure it reverse everything or in the same place?
