Need new battery... What brand should I get?

Time for a new battery...what brand have you guys used and what's recommended?

Brands that i know some local stores have are Bosch ($105-10 for old battery), Diehard ($130), Autocraft ($83), Duralast ($90)....any feedback or experience with any of these?....im probably leaning toward just getting it from roadside assistance for $141 installed....

i was trying to look for an Optima battery but didnt see any MB fitment on their site or anywhere...?

I got the roadside assistance one. But if you're running a system maybe you can try a better one recommended by a stereo shop.

Got 6 1/2 years out of the original battery. I'm in a cold climate (Boston) and it began not holding a charge over the Holidays. Looked some replacement batteries and trying to find one with the the right mounting dimensions, venting tube location, returning the core etc. just wasn't worth it.

I went the route of roadside assistance. They charged me $225 including tax and installation (which included all the resets).

Roadside assistance is provided by a local dealer and others have said that they were charged for the battery only (~$130- $140).

I picked up a #49 from Autozone (I don't remember the house brand name), but it has 2 year full replacement and I believe a 7-year prorated warranty. Cost was under $100 and it took me all of about 10 minutes to install (including the time it took to fetch my socket set). Perfect fit - no modifications to mounting bracket were necessary.
