AMG Package ?
I am looking at purchasing a used CLK320 .. I found a 1999 model, that the salesman tells me has the "AMG Package" on it. What exactly does this mean. The car does have 17" AMG rims, but what else should I be looking for?

AMG Brakes/ its cross drill rotors

amg interior AMG Steering Wheel ,AMG Shift Knob ,AMG Pedals and so on
thats some of the things i can think of right now iam sure there is more on amg but you can tell a amg package from a mile away

I dont think MB sold an "AMG package" on 1999 CLK320's. Only 2002 CLK320's had an optional sports package (that has always been standard on the CLK430) that included AMG wheels, front apron, rear apron, and sideskirts.
Having 17" AMG wheels doesnt qualify as an AMG package, so dont let the salesman tell you otherwise, and dont pay a dime more for the car.

The 320 Sport option to make it look like a 430 is the correct statement. Look for the black sport emblem on the front fender. Other than that there is no extras.

Don´t know if this applies to the US - but in Europe you could get an "AMG Edition" CLK320 towards the end of the 208´s life span, probably to shift the last remaining units.
I don´t recall the mechanical details (if there were any upgrades at all) - but on the visual side this package included full body kit, round fog lights, real 55 wheels - not just any AMG wheels, black chrome side window trim, AMG logos on the dash and steering wheel and AMG kick plates.

there is no such animal as a CLK320 AMG, or a CLK430 AMG.
the ONLY AMG W208 is the CLK55 AMG.
the only options I can think of, off the top of my head would be : head light washers, xenon lighting, Navigation, CD changer, and Mercedes Telephone.
