Service B???
THANKS for any help in advance.
On top of the glorified oil change that service B is, at 86K+ miles, I would have my spark plugs changed, have the serpentine belt looked at for small cracks, and the differential fluid and radiator fluid flushed and changed.
Oh yeah....if you haven't changed out your cabin filter yet, do that as well.
The cost will be dealer dependant. These are the prices at my local dealer when on sale. Regular customers and/or MBCA members always get sale prices or better. If not, a different service writer is in order. At any rate –
- A FSS B service for a V8 CLK is $299
- A regular transmission service (fluid and filter) is $200
- A brake fluid flush is $70
- A coolant service is $90
- A drive belt is $65 + an hour's labor
- The sparkplugs are $7.50 each (no idea what labor is)
