AMG CLK55 18" Wheel, Tire Size?

Let me say that I'm sorry if this was already posted.

But I need to know the stock tire size for the rear wheels on a CLK55 with
18's...

Thanks

The US press kit does not show 18's as being optional. The European spec W208 CLK55 could be ordered with 18's, and these specs are from that model:

The front tires were 225/40R18's, and the rears were 255/35R18’s. The available front wheel widths were 7.5, 8, and 8.5. The rear widths available were 8.5, 9, and 10. The sheet shows the same tires sizes regardless as to the wheel width.

Much thanks,

I was trying to figure out if I had to go with a 35 side wall in the rear. I would like to keep it at a 40 if I could. I live in the North East, we have big pot holes!

Cheers

HUGE potholes! I've seen whole cars eaten up by them! Do you have the 18" AMG monoblocks? I put a little wider tires on mine and they fit great

Does anyone know if this is possible with 18's
