Thoughts?

They are currently dry mounted so I don't have to worry about pulling them off, but do you think? Personally, I am on the fence. btw, the pics are clickable to see a bigger pic.

Where do you get these? I like em...anyone have comments or pics on the chrome gear shift surround on ebay? I think it would compliment this well...

I got them from bs00clk who got them off of ebay. They are under the w210 searches. I just bought a chrome gear shift surround off of ebay, as in an hour ago. So when it arrives we will find out together.

Here is a current auction:

I've ordered from him before. Good quality.

I'm kinda in the middle too as I sat in the car today, and wondered if all those surroundings would be overwhelming to the interior?? Maybe what you are thinking to. I like the look as well. Maybe just too many buttons in that center piece..

THe OEM Chrome/polish trim I noticed was door handles, keyhole, glove keyhole, ac vents, and chrome key ( optional ) hmmm..on the fence now too...any more pics ? maybe from the backseat or door view?

In my opinnion, it upgrades a bit dull OEM ambience (typical to Mercedes) giving much more equisite interior.

i dont see much wrong with the interiors of the new benzes....the interiors on our CLKs arent that great though..i can agree with that.....but that doesnt mean adding chrome accents to it makes it look better either...its your cars though so if you like it do it

I agree on this, but I have seen kits that are way overboard either too much Carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, whatever....I think these rings still pose a stock look, but maybe depending on the color of the interior ( dark vs. light leather) will tell if its "out of place" or not...

Done, but still waiting for the shift surround

Here are a few more pictures:

Sorry for the dirty shots, the girl will be going in for detailing in a couple of weeks. Since I neglected her for 3 months.

what it looked like when I picked it up off of the lot, stock!

and yes there is a new addition to the car

I got an amazing deal on the unit. It was brand new, still in the box and never installed, but the risk was it had not been tested so I took a gamble and won. This plus additional parts needed for install (wiring harness, AUX wiring, GPS wiring to aerial) $550.

To get the full res pics go to my site:
The Pietrzyk Gallery

After this there are only a few more things left for the interior, ashtray delete (on order through Steve), wood leather center arm rest and interior wood door pull. Also the good thing is these feel like metal so they will should be pretty easy to remove. Then it's the exterior (AMG kit and suspension).

Looks nice- can fill me in on the wood leather center arm rest and interior wood pull? Have any pics/links or more info? I've never seen anything on the wood leather center?
