Central Locking not closing windows
Hi folks,
Friend of mine fitted a tow bar for me, he disconnected the battery to fit the electrical kit for the tow bar. When he reconnected the battery the electric windows don't close up when you shut the door. They will close if you are in the car and hit the window button to close. Also before this when driving if I hit the button up or down the window would go all the way up or all the way down, now I have to hold the button.

They have to be reprogrammed. Move the windows to the bottom without using the auto down. Hold there for 10 seconds. Move the window up (again w/o using auto up) and hold 10 seconds. That should do it. Also..if you get esp/bas errors, turn the wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right...that should correct it. If you have a sunroof, you will have to do the same as windows.
