My main concern is passing smog. But no one seems to help answer my questions. Sad huh? LoL.
Once I finish the fabrication work on my V8 headers, I can get something made for the CLK320's....

If you're seeking a performance enhancement, money-wise you would do better to sell your CLK320 and get a CLK430.

Of course I am interested, but the headers need to be built specifically for a clk320 and I would want to see before/after dyno runs to know what I can expect. The Kleemans' are looking good at this point, just not feeling the price.

Alright, sounds good, keep everyone posted please.

By the way, how long will it take 'til your custom headers are finished?

I doubt if the bad welds were from the Kleemann headers, they are pretty stout! It was was more likely from the where they welded the Kleemann's to the rest of the factory exhaust.
