Help My Service B Is Coming!!!
well my clk has been in my garage for quite a bit now its been parked cuz of winter and what not
last time i drove it i forgot the "serivce B" was around the coner its comin up in 200 km? . ..
noww i was wondering is it possible to do it by myself? and what products will i need etc.
cuz last time i took it to the mb dealer for service a and som how it ended up rackin the bills
it was about 1200? cuz of my breaks and a bunch of labor crap scared to drop another 1000 or
somthing unless its needed im only a STUDENTT!! this car is killin me but i cant keep it hidden!
never really had hands on kinda work but want to try it out hopfully it all works out LOL

There is a lot of detail out there on what is included in a Service B, so I would start with a serach. Many of the members do their own "servicing" so it is possible, but for myself with my car still being under an extended warranty I was bringing my ride to the dealer. My question is what was the other $1000 that you spent on? If it was just what you said, then you would have saved maybe a few hundred swapping the breaks yourself, but would have still had an expense.
All German vehicles, especially luxury vehicles are not cheap to maintain. It a risk for anyone, even like the us who have well paying jobs.

nice lol i think ima juss take her in the shop seems wayy to mcuh for me to
be done myself im not much of a machanic goin school for that at the

i dont understand how some1 can pay hundreds of dollars for some1 to ONLY check something. i mean dam, how hard is it to check your fluids and your brakes? guess some people like giving money away,lol

I understand, but if you have a warranty you must keep up with servicing. So if you do it yourself how are you going to prove it?

From the list given by MarcusF, there has NO transmission fluid and power steering fluid change. Deal!
From my area, Service A is charged for $230, and Service B is charged for $720.
