They do everything for that price...I live near them and brought it to their shop...this place is no little garage shop. They fix every kind of auto electronic device...about 30 people there working on repair stations. Repairs are guaranteed. I was missing most of temp, various parts of time and a few pixels of the transmission position. They had it done in 36 hours. You can pull the cluster out with your fingers (just work at the lower edge and eventually you can grab enough to pull it out. There are 2 wire clips that hold the electric connections to the cluster. Watch out that the 2 corner pieces (the ones that show the various idiot light indicators) don't fall out and get lost. They are green and black and shaped almost like a triangle. They will give you directions about the installation (don't turn on the car for while...keep in on position for 30 min while the computer re calibrates w/the cluster). I wish that I had done it earlier because I was always aggravated when I looked down and saw that my car was not perfect!

I had this problem last year. BBA Remanufacturing outside of Boston, did a GREAT job repairing my console. Somewhere in this forum is the instructions on removing the instrument cluster (just search for it) and BBA does the rest. It was absolutely worth the $200 for the repair. It has been working flawlessly ever since. I'm sure there is a DIY fix out there... but is it worth the effort.
I have given the BBA link so many times, I can't remember...they do the job quickly and never a problem after they fix it...I've got the old yankee cheapness in my blood but the money spent on the BBA fix is worth every penny. I live in Mass...they actually did the fix while I waited (made appointment)...the place fixes everything auto electronics.
The instrument cluster removal is a breeze...basically nothing other than pressure holding it in place...2 clips on the wires to remover, voila!
