2002 clk 430
power seats not working properly

i think this is a common problem on these models i heard other people have the same problems but everything works with my seats except the forward and back on both seats so i dont know and i dont think any things stuck on there

How did it go? You also want to check fuses 6 thru 9 in the trunk.

i havnt taken a look yet but ill tell u when i do but if it were the fuses wont the hole seat not work

That's what I thought too, but a few of the functions of the seat are actually on separate fuses. When I do have a bad fuse causing the seat not to slide forward and back, most of the other functions still work. (I think the forward and back operation for the driver seat is linked to fuse #6 in the trunk.)
