Loose Glove Compartment
Hey guys, lately my glove compartment has been a bit wobbly when opening and closing the door. With the door open, you can move it quite a bit. It seems like the whole compartment isn't affixed to the car properly. I figure its a loose screw or something. I've never removed the glove compartment so I don't even know where to start. I haven't had a chance to look further into it. Any thoughts as to what it might be or some quick tips to remove the glove compartment or fix it otherwise. Thanks.

I just checked it out and the screw on the square hook is really tight. A regular screw driver would not work since it is so cramped in there since the screw is on the "ceiling" of the glove compartment. I took a phillips bit and the screw is as tight as it will go. The whole compartment though slides in and out of the dash about 1/2.

There are 4 screws that hold the glove box compartment into the dash. Two are located in the bottom under oval shaped rubber covers in the black felt about a half inch from the front edge. The upper ones are located roughly above the bottom ones and do not have covers. Put a makeup mirror in the glove box and you will see them.
