just venting

I know this will be stupid to some I'm just pissed bought a factory car cover had it on for the past week went to take it off today to see it had broken off the rubber stem that sticks up for the antenna. So th e wire is now exposed. Is there a different cover for the clk with a antenna pocket like they have for the hood ornament? I hope this doesn't happen again after I get the new piece will go order it tomorrow

I haven't used mine in a while (it's in the closet of the nursery where the baby is sleeping - otherwise I'd go look at it for you), but IIRC, it has the "pocket" for the antenna. It's grey in color and came in a large handle-tie bag with an MB logo on it....

Cool if it does have the pocket I hope they will exchange it for the correct one since I had it on the car already still clean but you they might make a big deal about it. I order all my factory stuff from the same guy so I hope he looks at it like his fault for not asking if I had the antenna

Man, I am in the same boat. I took my car through a green lantern car wash and it broke the rubber piece off and my wire has been exposed for a while. I went back to check the lost and found and had no luck. I haven't even messed with it but I figured I could glue it back on if I found it. It will probably be like $100 or something ridiculous to have the dealership order it....haven't checked with them yet though...

No not a drive thru car wash. Well I'm going up there tomorrow to order a new antenna I will tell you the cost I get it at wholesale thru my job so if its a big difference I wouldn't mind getting you one just pay the cost+shipping. My main problem is if it is supposed to have the pocket it will keep breaking my antenna because the cover fits snug. So hopefully I will have this solved tomorrow.

I had to buy a antenna cover for my car it cost $127. I have an extra black cover new in factory pakage if anyone needs it I'll let it go for less than the dealer wants for it.
