In that case, you'll most likely need resistors.

Babyboi, or anyone else- Has anyone tried using these for our interior lights such as the front and back dome lights? Would they fit? Looks close...

Also Babyboi have you ran into any issues what-so-ever with the ones installed above the L. plate?

Thanks

FWIW, autolumination has posted circuited H6Ws that should not give you the "defective lamp" warning.

About a week ago i bought the circuited front, rear, and side signals from autolumination. Replacing more than one bulb on each side will give you the rapid flash rate, but will not give you a "defective lamp" warning. I decided not to bother with load resistors. I could not find a flasher relay, so replacing the relay was not an option for me. I just ordered the H6Ws and license plate LEDs to exchange for the signal LEDs I'm sending back.

You may run into the risk of burning your wires if you do not know what you are doing.

Almost all interior bulbs are 6418s. The plate bulbs are also 6418.'

But for the interior, I think you can use the cheaper LED bulbs that are not curcuited.

But different size. What interior light is 39mm the front domes aren't reason i ask cause i got some extras.
Error free for me i got the flat 9 led ones

Well the led ba9x or whatever it is... the ones that turn on first click running/parking lights. The LED ones give a warning, they look great though.

^^^

autolumination is now selling circuited H6Ws. They shouldn't activate the warning.

I'm not having any luck with either the Festoons or the BAX9s. Both causes bulb out errors on a 2001 CLK.

Item Name:Festoon Bulb
Item Options:Color: Super White
Size: 39mm SMT
Item Number:9 Led

Item Name:Bayonet
Item Options:Color: Cool White
Lens: BAX9s
Item Number:5Led SMT

Oh well...

I just installed the festoons for the plate light. I'm also getting the "lamp defective warning". These the suppose to be the one with resisistors built in.

Guys! I am so sorry for not responding to my own thread lately. I haven't been clicking it. LoL.

Anyways...

as far as the LED License Plate LED Bulbs and the interior bulbs, such as the dome lights... yes, they're similar bulbs, the only difference is the length of each bulb. i don't exactly remember but i think the interior dome lights are slightly longer by a millimeter or two.

I still haven't had issues on my car with my LED license plate lights. Others have mentioned that they had problems since day one. so i guess it really all depends on how your car functions electrically and how you plan to deal with it. But as far as mine goes... so far so good. The same set of LED's since day one, and they STILL work great.

It's weird how your car doesn't need resistors to keep the LEDs error free. Maybe it has something to do with your halos being wired in series with the plate bulbs.
