Lightbulb TRULY ERROR FREE / RESISTOR FREE Rear License Plate LED Lights

Alright guys, i FINALLY found some really great looking SUPERWHITE LED License Plate Light Bulbs for everyone.

They're BRAND NEW, they barely became available less than a month ago. I just never bought them til last week.

NO RESISTORS NEEDED!

NO "BULB OUT" error messages on the dash!

NO FLICKERING!

TRULY a simple replacement bulb, except in a LED version!

Oh, these aren't as cheap. They're about $19.50 for a pair, that includes shipping.

Pics....

LED on the LEFT. STOCK BULB on the RIGHT

Here's the website...

http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm

Scroll down until it says... High Powered 9 Led SMT Festoon

Find your size and install!!!

Which size do we need for the w208? I just got a order from them after looking at the other post on mymbonline for the city lights and bought the Xenon Super White Festoon Dome Light Bulbs for all my interior bulbs. Haven't used my car since but wasn't 100% satisfied when I put them in but just from your pic those look better. Also I bought the wrong bulbs for the city lights I got confused and thought that the 194 wedge bulbs when I read that thread but when I took my bulbs out it was H7's. So which bulbs do you recommend for the city lights

For the license plate lights, the bulb size for our W208's is "6418"

for the city lights.... it's "194" <== be sure to buy the SUPERWHITE. (non-led's). Depending on which headlights you have, it enhances the ANGEL EYES. Well mine does. Oh, and if you have clear side markers. it's the same size for those too.

Mine hasn't given me any errors. But as far as the looking nice part... yup, it does.

Just as i stated on the other forum... The light is so clean that it even enhances the 3-D lettering effect on the license plate. LoL.

I bought the 194's and when I took my city lights out they had H7 stamped on them. Can you just pull the wedge part out and replace it? Hope I'm not confusing you will look at it again tomorrow

Our CLK's are the same right? as far as bulb fitments right? Maybe you should try double-checking with other 430 owners. Just a thought.

I believe the stock bulbs are 6418 for city lights and h7 for high beams.

No problemo man.

Just as i posted on another forum. One of my buddies who ordered a pair for his mom's 2002 E-Class, he had some weird problems.

Since i had mine on, it's been all good. But for my buddy's car, the "bulb out" error would be an on and off thing throughout the day.

Cool

So did these continue 'error free'?
One of my license plate bulbs is flickering. I need to replace them.
Anyone know the easy way in get these jewels out?

Anyone know how to replace these lights? I see on the back panel 3 holes, either side has a screw but center is 'capped'. Do I need to go in through the inside?

Yeah, gotta take out the inner trunk liner. be sure not to break them. remove the inner piece before taking out the outer circles. (talking about the plastic pieces)

ERROR FREE?

I have a CL500 EURO.

Will they be error free when fitted to my car.

I bought a set previously and they just flashed every 5 seconds.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards
