Not finished yet (210 99+ steering wheel with non fitting 203 airbag...dashtrim to be changed as well...) but at least it all functions.

2001 CLK 320
As to the thin flat key, on my manual for my 99' CLK 320 it's referred to as a back up key, meant for a wallet or purse. It has the metallic key to get in through the drivers side door or trunk lock plus the actual key to start the car. Only thing not on it (to keep it thin obviously) is the RF stuff to unlock via radio and battery for that. I keep mine in my wallet with no probs whatsoever.

so you're saying the flat key can indeed start the car?
